Welcome to expert care with a kind and compassionate approach.

Success of IVF (and IUI) depend just as much on the state of your body as does success without these techniques. Healthy response to drugs, optimum egg quality, and a receptive uterine lining are essential for a high probability of pregnancy and healthy delivery of a baby. By incorporating our unique process combining acupuncture, stress-reduction, lifestyle and dietary guidance along with very specific nutritional supplementation, your chances of success are maximized to the fullest.

How it works

The system we use works on several levels:

·       Acupuncture has been shown in study after study to increase IVF success by 60% or more, and our experience bears this out as we routinely see 70-80% success rates with our patients. Acupuncture has been demonstrated in studies to increase relaxation and relieve stress, which improves blood flow to the reproductive organs as a result. There are other subtle effects Acupuncture has that help the body to express its fertile potential at various stages of the fertility cycle.

·       Customized Herbal Therapy may be used during the months and weeks BEFORE you start your fertility medications to balance hormone output and tissue response, as well as replenish and restore the body’s internal resources. We have seen dramatic changes in menstrual cycle length, flow, and symptoms using herbs along with Acupuncture. This is demonstrates the power of herbs to help restore the natural rhythm of the body with very little risk or side-effects. We will stop the herbal medicines approximately 1 week before you are scheduled to begin your fertility medications. This is to prevent any cross-reactions or side-effects, as well as to ensure that the drugs are able to work as effectively as possible.

·       Targeted Nutritional Supplementation and dietary guidance ensures that you are getting the abundant nutrients necessary for a robust, vibrant response to the fertility medications. We also give you specific guidelines to ensure you are eating the right kinds of foods at the right time of day with the right types of nutrients to support your body in creating and sustaining hormonal balance. Improper diet is a source of biological stress that most of us do not think about. By making targeted, practical adjustments to your diet we can reap significant benefits for you.

·       Specialized Mind-Body Techniques teach you how to effectively manage stress, to keep the body in the most receptive state possible. The process of fertilization and conception are by definition a reflection of the body’s ability to be receptive to change, growth, and new life. By setting up a mental-emotional frequency that supports this receptivity, your body is better prepared for the journey to come.

“Early in my career, before I had developed a specialty, I worked in a very busy and well-known clinic in New York City. I began to see a high volume of fertility patients, and many were women who chose to start families over age 35. A lot of these patients came to me having already scheduled or started IVF cycles. I was able to develop focused and effective treatment plans and help many women achieve successful pregnancies. Some of the top-rated fertility clinics in the city started referring patients to me. This intensive, on-the-job training early on in my professional career was essential to my practice now, where I bring over 10 years of experience to my continued work with IVF patients.”
